Wheel builds, wheel builds and more wheel builds well okay 87 in total this week but with 9 bike over halls, 132 emails 219 phone calls and Loads and Loads of online orders so it was a good week.

But there is no harm in planning for a nice easy start on Monday morning 🤪
Mine has 7 Hope and 2 Shimano XT wheels to build in the morning. Then after a good strong cup of coffee I need to crack on with this massive pile of wheels (100 Ebike rear wheels in total) which are being picked up next Friday so only 69 to go 😭
That's all before all the amazing local cyclists I have booked in that comes in each morning.. No one can say that I am not doing my bit to keep York and the UK cycling during the Covid-19 outbreak.

Okay so I spend most of my time upgrading other people's bikes with some amazing kit and I thought it was time to do my hack bike as it had been a few years.
It needed a new wheel set (Dura Ace hubs, Sapim Laser spokes on Ambrosio P2.0 rims) Stronglight chainring, new DID track chain, new Deda inline post, new Deda Crono Nero aero bars and Cinelli bar tape.
I think it is looking all set for summer now ✌️

The wanderings of a lost madman seeming to be chasing the head wind all the way round yesterday with a very low average speed at 17mph. Riding from York to the M62 at Howden for a photo call and then backup via Selby and Cawood.
A lovely day for it.

This set of wide 27.5 gravel wheels with a XT rear and a Son 28 front built up on a set of Mavic EX729's with Sapim Laser spokes are super nice. They are going to be going on an amazing custom Shand Stoater frameset.
